Hey everyone! The week is almost over! I don't really have much to talk about so I thought I would talk about tv shows!

awesome show Pictures, Images and Photos

1. Does anyone watch The Hills? Heidi looks terrible after her plastic surgery! I am pretty sure this is going to be an interesting season!

2. How about American Idol? I don't think the season is as good this time but I still enjoy it! I loved last nights songs. I mean come on Shania Twain? I love it! I can't wait for the results show!

3. Who watches Hoarders? For some reason I really like to watch this show. Maybe it's because it makes me feel better about my messes ha! Anyway it is sad to see how some people are living!

4. American Pickers: I love this show! I think it is soo cool all the things they find. I also think it's crazy how much some things I would say are junk sell for like $200!

5. The City: Uh not really my favorite but I still like to watch it because Whitney is in it!

6. Medium: I know this isn't a new show but I have absolutly become addicted to this show! I just can't stop watching it when it comes on!

Anyway these are just a few shows that I have started watching (become addicted too). What do you think? Do you watch any of these shows?

Relaxing Weekend!

We had a good weekend! Friday night we relaxed around the house and waited for the storms to move in! Saturday I went to a wedding shower for a friend at church and then my Mom and I headed to our church to decorate our table for the Festival of Tables fundraiser our ladies group was having. Our table was razorback themed and it turned out soo cute! I left early from the fundraiser and went with Heath to a cookout for his work! The food was delicious and it was nice to meet everyone that worked with him! After the cookout we headed to play a few games of bowling with some friends. It was tons of fun even though I lost miserably :( ha!
Me and Melissa!

Me and the Hubby! (not a great pic but I had to post it anyway!)

Sunday I was supposed to head to church but ended up taking some medicine that knocked me out because of a toothache I have had forever! :( That afternoon I did go to my little cousin Abie's first birthday party! I can't believe she is already a year old! That night we relaxed and watched some tv! It was a good weekend all in all!
I am looking forward to this week! I have a lot going on and can't wait to get all the things I need to get done! Hope you all have a FABULOUS week!

Regular Betty Crocker.....

Hey everyone! I have really been into the whole cooking thing lately! I think I am getting pretty good at it too. Anyway, I fixed some salsa and beef enchiladas for dinner. I found both of the recipes on http://www.mynashvillenest.blogspot.com/ I will post them here too though!

Here is the salsa before it was blended!
You will need:
1 can (28 Ounce) Whole Tomatoes With Juice
2 cans (10 Ounce) Rotel (diced Tomatoes And Green Chilies)
¼ cups Chopped Onion
1 clove Garlic, Minced
1 whole Jalapeno, Quartered And Sliced Thin
¼ teaspoons Sugar
¼ teaspoons Salt
¼ teaspoons Ground Cumin
½ cups Cilantro
½ whole Lime Juice

Instructions:
Pour can of tomatoes into food processor or blender.
Then pour two cans of Rotel.
Now add 1/4 cup of diced onions.
and 1 clove of chopped garlic.
Chop the jalapeno by first slicing in half lengthwise, then cut those in half, now you have fourths. Then slice those into thin pieces and add to the tomatoes.
Now add, 1/4 tsp salt.
And 1/4 tsp sugar.
the juice of a lime. Use the juice of a whole lime if it's small and half of one if it is a big lime.
Add cilantro.
And 1/4 tsp ground cumin. Pulse until it is desired consistency.
This is what my finished product looked like! It was soo good but spicy so beware!
Beef Enchiladas

Here is before it was baked!
1 lb hamburger meat
1 small onion, chopped
1 can of chopped black olives (optional)- I didn't use them.
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 can of Enchilada sauce
8 oz of shredded cheddar cheese
6-8 flour tortillas (I used 16 small tortillas

Instructions:
Brown the meat and saute the onions in with it.
Combine the mushroom soup and enchilada sauce
Once the beef is done, add in the olives (optional) and let it heat and then add in 3/4 of the cheese and let it melt - mix it all together.
Fill tortillas with the meat mixture and roll up.
Pour sauce on top and top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
The finished product! It was delicious and soo simple! The Hubby approved that I could make them again :)
And of course I had a little help in the kitchen!

Sweet baby girl Holli was right under my feet making sure to pick up the bits of food I accidently dropped!

I am so glad I came across http://www.mynashvillenest.blogspot.com/ I can't wait to try out some more of her recipes! If they are as great as this one I'm sure I will love it!

Two Posts in One Day....WOW!!

I have been extremely busy. My weekend consisted of spending time with my brother and sis-n-law since they were home for the weekend. First we participated and WON a RockBand tournament that my church was holding! GO US! That night we sat around and enjoyed watching movies! Ha we watched Dazed and Confused! Anyone remember that movie? Sunday, I had church, a birthday party, and a baby shower. After that I was exhausted. Monday I cleaned and practiced up for my recording studio lesson on Tuesday. Tuesday started out with a BOOM!! Literally, I was awaken by a sonic boom from the space shuttle that landed at the Kennedy Space Center. It just happened to re-enter the atmosphere over Little Rock. Then it was off to the dentist, the recording studio, and our womens meeting at church. I am exhausted! I wanted to do a fun post though so feel free to copy and paste this fun survey!

BREAK TIME!

Sorry for the long blogging break lately I just haven't felt like being on the computer. Instead I would rather be outside soaking up the beautiful sun.

I know I have been so lost in the bloggy world lately so I am hoping to get back to reading all of your fabulous blogs. I have been spending most of my time reading outside and enjoying the warm weather.
I finished reading Dear John yesterday and now I can't wait to watch the movie. It was a very good book but I didn't expect it to be so sad.

Now I am reading The Last Song and am sure I will want to see the movie when I'm done with this one too!
I don't really know what I will read after I finish this one. What are some good books ya''ll have read? I would be happy to know so I can find a new one after I finish the one I'm on.
