Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On!

It's 12:30 am here and we had a 4.7 Magnitude Earthquake at 11:00 pm. For Arkansas this is crazy! We never have things like this but recently a part of the state has been receiving quite a few of them. This is the first one I have felt since I was about 13. They said this is the biggest earthquake to hit in Arkansas since 1976! Crazy!!! Plus there was a 3.8 aftershock 20 minutes later! I'm never going to sleep tonight considering that we have tornados supposed to hit around 3 am! Only in Arkansas can you have tornados and earthquakes on the same day! WOW! I kinda feel like Cloudy with a Chance of Earthquakes LOL! I'll update about my weekend later for now I'm going to try to relax and pray there are no more earthquakes and no tornados tonight!

Hogwash

Saturday Arkansas played Alabama! Sadly they lost by 4! I'm pretty proud of my Hogs for only losing by 4 to the #1 team! I spent most of the afternoon curled up on the couch in my Hog pj's watching the game with my sweet Holli and the Hubs!
My Mom bought we this bracelet a few weeks ago. It says Hogs on it sorry it's not a very good picture!
We had a pretty laid back weekend! The Hubby got a new motorcycle!
It's really pretty in the sunlight! Ha it has sparkles in the paint! The rest of the weekend we stayed home and enjoyed some TV time. It was nice to spend a relaxing weekend at home if only the Hogs would have won!

Tragedy in Arkansas!

I recently wrote about the terrible tragedy in Nashville due to the floods. Well, my home state Arkansas has now experienced our own tragedy due to floods! The Little Missouri River in Montgomery and Pike county flooded and many are dead and some still trapped or missing in the Albert Pike Campground. So far the deathtoll is up to 20. I am truly amazed at what flood water has been doing lately not just in Arkansas. I ask you to pray for the families and those affected by these floods in Arkansas. To view pictures and a video from this tragedy please visit http://www.todaysthv.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=106385&catid=238. It is truly a horrible scene and very sad.
