Easter 2013

Easter did not turn out like I expected it too! My day started off with the news of a horrible accident at my Husband's work. As I was getting ready for church I read about it on a radio station page on Facebook. I immediately thought that even though the station made it sound like it was a small accident I was glad that my Husband was working nights and already home in bed. So I continued getting ready for church. As I was just about to leave Heath received a phone call and it woke him up. The accident was much worse then the station made it sound, one person had been killed and several were injured. Heath didn't get to go into work that night because they didn't want anyone in the plant. I'm so thankful he wasn't there when the accident happened! 

We had a wonderful church service and then a wonderful lunch with family.

I am looking forward to this week! We have an appointment for a 3D Ultrasound on Wednesday and I can't wait! I hope you all enjoy your week! 

Painting for A Cause

My Mom and I went and painted at a paint bar for a fundraiser! We have been before and painted Razorbacks but this time we painted crosses! 

It's always fun and I love going even though I'm not a terrific painter! HEHE!

I painted this for Emmalyn's room! I can't wait to see it hanging in her room! I'm going to add some bling to it before it's completely finished! The fundraiser was for a group from our church that is going to Juarez, Mexico in a few weeks! I really wanted to go but being pregnant I couldn't. Oh well, maybe I will get to go on the next mission trip!  Please pray for them as they travel and as they work in the city!

Friday night I participated in packing meals to send to kids in Swaziland, Africa with my church. 

It was so rewarding and so much fun. We packed over 34,000 meals and I already can't wait to do it again next year! Here are some fun pictures from the night!

Monday Madness

It's another rainy day here in Arkansas and I woke up feeling a little yucky!

However, my Hubby brightened my day by sending me these beautiful flowers! Yellow roses are my favorite! He is definitely the best! 

The weekend was pretty good, I participated in this great event Friday night there is more to come on this event! 

Saturday my Mom came and helped me work some on Emmalyn's room. Sunday was of course church and I went with the bestie Emily to a bridal fair that afternoon. We had a lot of fun picking out stuff for their wedding. 

Today seems to be the only free day I have until Friday, it seems like it's going to be a busy week. Although it sure makes the week go by faster when it is! 

Weekend Recap

Friday I went up to Branson with my Mom and Dad for the day! It was nice to get away for a little while and I really enjoyed seeing the Christmas lights at Silver Dollar City! On the way home the Hubby surprised me by coming in from work. I was so excited to get home after I found out!

Saturday I tried to finish my Christmas shopping but wasn't successful. That evening we went out to eat at Olive Garden with our 2 best friends then came home and relaxed!

Sunday was the Christmas play at church. I received some great little gifts from my adorable Sunday school kiddos and loved watching them in the play. That afternoon we went to the mall with my parents to work on our shopping. We ended the night by eating at Coleton's. 

It was a great weekend and a very busy one. This week starts some of our Christmas parties and I look forward to every single one of them! Hope you all have a great week!

Weekend Recap!

This week has flew by and I haven't had time to blog, but anyway I've had a pretty good weekend!

Friday and Saturday I really didn't do much, I've been working on my Christmas cards and wrapping gifts! Today has been a wonderful day though despite the rain and storms! It started with church and then a baby shower for a lady in our church. It was so fun to look at all the little baby clothes and get ideas for if our baby is a boy! Then I watched the Christmas movie The Mistle-Tones with my Mom and this wonderful day ended with two of our best friends getting ENGAGED!! I'm soo excited CONGRATS Chris and Emily! 

Since I didn't get one posted last week, I do have a baby bump picture to post later this week and I also will post a poll to see if ya'll think it's a boy or it's a girl!

I'm also really hoping to get pics of my Christmas decorations up so stay tuned!

Weekend!!

This weekend was pretty laid back and relaxed! I'm glad it was cause I really could use it! Friday night I had Mary Kay Boot Camp at my director's house. It was so much fun and I'm so glad I went, I really learned a whole lot. Saturday I spent the afternoon decorating the church for our Vacation Bible School this week. Saturday night the Hubby and I enjoyed a relaxing evening outside talking to the neighbors. It was nice to just relax. Sunday night started our Vacation Bible School so it was a fun and eventful night. I look forward to this week with all these adorable kiddos. After VBS I went to my Brother and Sis-in-Law's for a little bit so I got to see this sweet girl!

I just love her! It was Auntie day I found out thanks to Facebook so of course she had on the perfect outfit! It's going to be a busy but exciting week. I hope you all have a terrific week!

P.S. My Dad is doing good and goes to the doctor tomorrow. 

Weekend Fun!

We had a fun weekend! Friday night we went out to eat at Senor Tequila with some friends and then went to see Men in Black 3! It was really good! Saturday, I had a facial to do that morning then I had to go to my Sister-in- Laws baby shower!

After the shower we had a birthday party for a foster child that my In-Laws have. It was such a fun time and delicious food! Sunday, was church and relaxing with the babies and now I'm watching the Miss USA pageant!

Memorial Day Weekend 2012!

First of all I'd like to thank all of our troops past present and future! I could never thank you enough!

Let me start on Thursday! The Hubby and I decided to take an impromptu trip to Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missori. It was such a nice little getaway even though the park was crowded!

 While we were in Branson these two sweeties spent the day at my Mom and Dad's!

Friday we did absolutely nothing! It was so nice to relax for a change!

Saturday the Hubby had a fishing tournament with his Dad so I did some Mary Kay facials!

Sunday we went to church and then went out to eat at Cracker Barrel for lunch with my parents and brother and sis in law! After lunch we decided to set up the pool!

After setting up the pool we decided to go see the Avengers movie with a couple of our friends! I loved the movie it was so funny!

Monday I did a couple facials and gave a piano lesson, then we went to a cookout with my family!

All in all it was a fabulous weekend! It's almost time to head to bed and get ready for some more facials tomorrow and hopefully some relaxing in the pool! :)  

Busy Weekend

We had a very busy but fun weekend! We had two weddings to attend one on Friday night and one on Saturday they were both such beautiful weddings and I'm very happy for both couples. We got to spend most of the weekend with our friends since we were going to the weddings.

Saturday morning I had a Mary Kay event at the Peabody Hotel and I had to bring a guest so I took Stevi. We had a blast and I am so inspired and filled with great ideas from that morning. 

Sunday was filled with church, napping, and working on Mary Kay stuff! So tonight I am relaxing with my loves and enjoying the free time.

Memorial Day Weekend!

We have had one terrific weekend!! First of all I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of our service men and women!

*Friday*

The Hubby smoked some tenderloin and potatoes at my parents house and it was sooo yummy!

*Saturday*

We really didn't do much at all. It was nice to sit around and relax some!

*Sunday*

I sang the National Anthem at church in honor of the service men and women. After church we headed to a fish fry with some people Heath has worked with. It was a lot of fun. Sunday night we hung around the house and enjoyed some tv time.

*Monday*

We had a cookout with my family and that was pretty much it.

We had such a relaxing and fun weekend! I hope you all enjoyed yours!

Do you watch the Bachelorette? I'm sooo mad at Bentley. I don't think I'm too wild about Ashley but I can't believe that she doesn't see through Bentley. Oh well, I can't wait to watch next week!

Catching Up :)

I have really been out of it lately blah! I don't really know why I haven't been blogging just haven't! First of all I want to say to please pray for all of the storm victims out there! It's super sad and scary.

I thought I would play a little catch up! Last Tuesday my church women's group had their annual Mother/Daughter Banquet. My Mom and I did the decorations, everyone brought some kind of dish, and we had a short devotional, a game, and a reading. It was really fun and glad to see all the people that don't normally make it to meetings get to come. I have posted some pics of the night!

This past weekend was pretty good!

Friday it rained (OF COURSE)! So we stayed home! It flooded our yard for a few hours. It actually got pretty high and I was getting nervous!

Saturday, My Mom and I went grocery shopping! I'm trying really hard to learn this coupon thing so if you have any tips please share! That night the Hubby and I went out to eat at Red Lobster with some friends! It was a lot of fun and nice to see our friends!

That's pretty much our weekend!

Who is excited about The Bachelorette?? I am! I just love watching this show. I'm not so crazy about Ashley but oh well I think the show will be good.

Anyway, that's about all I have for now. I'll try to do better and post more often. I guess I just don't have too much to talk about lately LOL! Have a great week!

Weekend Fun!

I tried to post this yesterday but blogger wouldn't let me :( so here it is a day late!

We had a pretty good weekend! On Friday I made this yummy dinner and we spent the rest of the night watching the new Harry Potter Movie! It's pretty good!

Easy Peasy Chicken Alfredo Recipe:

1 pkg. Tyson Grilled and Ready Chicken Strips

Half a pkg. of fettucini noodles

1 jar of Alfredo sauce

First boil the noodes according to the package. While the noodles are boiling cook the chicken strips according to it's package. When the noodles and chicken are both done mix them together and add the Alfredo sauce. Heat for a few minutes and it's ready to serve!

On Saturday we had a lazy afternoon, that night we went to eat at one of our favorite places called Fuji's it's a japanese steakhouse! YUM!! After that we met up with a couple of friends and went bowling! It was a lot of fun!

Today was church day and we had communion tonight at church. It was very good and makes me ready for this week leading up to Easter.

Speaking of Easter I decided to post the few Easter decorations I have in my house! I wanted more but just didn't buy any :( oh well it will due for this year!

Weekend Fun!

We had a terrific weekend! Since I uploaded my pictures wrong on here I will start from the end of the weekend ha! Sunday morning was the childrens Christmas play at church! They did such a good job and afterward we had lunch at church and the kids got to open their gifts from their teachers! Some of my sweet kiddos got me this adorable ornament.....

I also got a monthly planner and some coasters from my secert sis last year!

Saturday- We took both mine and the Hubby's parents to see Trans-Siberan Orchestra for their Christmas present. It was a terrific show and we were on the 14th row! We have been in the past but never on the floor! It's an amazing show and you should go see it! Here are a few pics from the concert!

Friday- We had a couple of friends over and played some games!

It was a terrific weekend! Can't wait for the coming up weekend! I mean Christmas is always great!!

A Race, The Fair, and some Visitors!

This weekend was tons of fun and I'm sad to see it go! Saturday morning I got up at 4:30 am to head to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure! It's a 3 mile walk or run and it's so much fun! Plus there is a ton of PINK!! I walked with a group from our church and we had a blast! Here are some pictures of the fun....

The race was a blast and I can't wait for next year! It's such a good cause and always fun!


After the race I went home and took a nap! Then woke up and watched the Razorbacks lose horribly to Auburn! Even though I still think the refs robbed us of a few calls! Oh well! Better luck next time!

Heath came home and we decided to go to the State Fair! We hadn't been in years and it was a lot of fun!

We saw the amazing horse and it really did have 5 legs but they wouldn't let me take a picture of it! So I just took one of the sign!

He won lots of games and we had so many huge stuffed animals that we gave them to some little kids that didn't have any! He also won me a pink guitar! I was super excited and will always remember where he got it! It was a blast!

We had some visitors this weekend! My Mom and Dad went out of town for a night and so Sammy and Thumper got to come play with Holli! I couldn't get them all to take a picture together so they have separate ones!

All in all it was a terrific weekend and I'm sad the weekend is over! Hopefully the week will be good!
