First Baby Shower!

I had my first baby shower on April 20, 2013! It was given by one of my best friends Emily and was a small shower with mainly friends. I really enjoyed my shower and am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. Emmalyn got some cute stuff and also some things we are going to be needing. It just makes me much more excited for her to arrive! Here are just a few pictures from the day!

31 Weeks

How far along: 31 weeks

Sleep: Getting up to go to the bathroom several times during the night!

Diet/Cravings/Aversions: Sometimes she makes me feel a little queasy when I eat!

Gender: It's a GIRL!!! Emmalyn Joy!

Movement:  Yes :)

The belly: Is still growing!

Worries: Trying to get everything done before she is here!

What I Miss: No heartburn and normal clothes

Symptoms: Heartburn and acid reflux

What I'm looking forward to: 3D Ultrasound on Wednesday

Best moment of the week: Hearing her heartbeat!

Easter 2013

Easter did not turn out like I expected it too! My day started off with the news of a horrible accident at my Husband's work. As I was getting ready for church I read about it on a radio station page on Facebook. I immediately thought that even though the station made it sound like it was a small accident I was glad that my Husband was working nights and already home in bed. So I continued getting ready for church. As I was just about to leave Heath received a phone call and it woke him up. The accident was much worse then the station made it sound, one person had been killed and several were injured. Heath didn't get to go into work that night because they didn't want anyone in the plant. I'm so thankful he wasn't there when the accident happened! 

We had a wonderful church service and then a wonderful lunch with family.

I am looking forward to this week! We have an appointment for a 3D Ultrasound on Wednesday and I can't wait! I hope you all enjoy your week! 

26 Weeks

How far along: 26 weeks

Weight gain/loss: Around 10 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yes

Stretch marks: Nope

Sleep: No problems except getting up to go to the bathroom

Diet/Cravings/Aversions: Just any food, I eat constantly!

Gender: It's a GIRL!!! Emmalyn Joy!

Movement:  Yes :)

What I Miss: No heartburn

Symptoms: Hungry and having heartburn

What I'm looking forward to: My Doctor appointment Thursday!

Best moment of the week: Realizing I'm almost to my third trimester!

Monday Madness

It's another rainy day here in Arkansas and I woke up feeling a little yucky!

However, my Hubby brightened my day by sending me these beautiful flowers! Yellow roses are my favorite! He is definitely the best! 

The weekend was pretty good, I participated in this great event Friday night there is more to come on this event! 

Saturday my Mom came and helped me work some on Emmalyn's room. Sunday was of course church and I went with the bestie Emily to a bridal fair that afternoon. We had a lot of fun picking out stuff for their wedding. 

Today seems to be the only free day I have until Friday, it seems like it's going to be a busy week. Although it sure makes the week go by faster when it is! 

Monday Randoms

It's a boring rainy day here so I've been catching up on blogs although I should be cleaning the house ;) I am so tired of the cold weather which means I definitely have spring fever! Any one else feel the same way?

I was sad to hear of Mindy McCready's death last night! I pray for her family during this difficult time. 

In other news, I officially can't wear my jeans anymore. I guess I shouldn't complain much since I'm 25 weeks pregnant and just now can't wear my jeans. It looks like I'll be making a shopping trip soon! I'm looking forward to my doctor appointment next week! I'll try to get a new bump picture up soon!

I have been going to the gym and using the treadmill to get my walking in! It gives me more energy when I walk and can get some exercise. I've also been reading a lot lately, got any good books to read?

I don't really have much more to talk about so I guess that's all for now! I hope you all enjoy your week and maybe I'll be more exciting next time! HA!

Hi My Name Is......

Emmalyn Joy!

I am absolutely in love with our baby girl's name. We had another doctor appointment today and everything looked great. We go back February 28th and after that my appointments will be every 2 weeks! She got this adorable piggy bank from her Uncle Jody, Aunt Cassidy, and Cousin Evie! I love it and can't wait till it's in her room! I have already bought a couple of dresses for her and I'll be sure to post pictures of them soon! I am really enjoying making bows and buying cute clothes!  

Just Hanging Around.....

We haven't been up to much lately which is why I haven't blogged. The Hubby has been working on building model cars and I've been making hair bows for our little miss.

Stay tuned this week I will announce what Little Miss' name is! I turned 25 last week and we had friends over to play games Saturday night to celebrate! I always enjoy having our friends over. My bestie Emily gave me a gift card to Target for my birthday so I picked this up....

I can't wait to try it out! I have the worlds worst straight hair. It only curls good with a chi which I have no clue how to use to curl my hair so I'm hoping this will work!

We go to the Doctor tomorrow to check on little miss. I have a weakness for these cheese sticks from our pizza place! I just can't get enough of them!

GIRL!!!!

We are so excited to announce we are having a little girl! I'm super excited for big hair bows, lot's of pink, and glitter! I can't wait to start working on her room! I'm already working on collecting hair bows and I have so many ideas for her room! I'm already ready for our next appointment so we can see her again! January 31st is so far away!

Christmas 2012

I'm finally posting about our Christmas! I feel so behind and almost didn't even post about it because I feel like it's in the past already lol! I decided to post about it anyway so if you are reading this blog I hope you don't think I'm too far behind. 

We had a wonderful Christmas as usual. However, I kept thinking about how exciting next years Christmas will be with our new baby! I can't wait to watch him or her enjoy the day. We spent Christmas Eve at Heath's parents house and then Christmas morning with my family. We usually have Christmas morning at my parents house but since they are building a house and are currently living in a camper we had it at our house. We got so many great gifts although I didn't post half of them, we are truly blessed to have such wonderful families. Hubby got me a Northface Jacket and a charm for my bracelet and I got him a new bow and a case for it. Sadly, we didn't make it to all of our Christmas' this year because we had a snow and ice storm and couldn't make it to Heath's grandparents and I sure missed going. Anyway, here are some pictures of our Christmas!

15 Weeks

How far along: 15 Weeks!

Maternity Clothes: Not yet just wearing stretchy clothes!

Stretch marks: Nope 

Sleep: Just fine. Hubby is working out of town so I'm only sharing the bed with baby and my sweet puppy Holli!

Diet/Cravings/Aversions: None this week

Gender: We find out January 4th!

Movement:  I thought so once or twice but not really sure it was or not!

The belly: is starting to grow!

Worries: No baby worries this week! Just worried about finishing my Christmas shopping!

What I Miss: Nothing!

Symptoms: Heartburn, Acid Reflux, and I had a round of morning sickness yesterday :(

What I'm looking forward to: Finding out if we are having a boy or girl!

Best moment of the week: Thinking I felt the baby move!

Weekend Recap!

This week has flew by and I haven't had time to blog, but anyway I've had a pretty good weekend!

Friday and Saturday I really didn't do much, I've been working on my Christmas cards and wrapping gifts! Today has been a wonderful day though despite the rain and storms! It started with church and then a baby shower for a lady in our church. It was so fun to look at all the little baby clothes and get ideas for if our baby is a boy! Then I watched the Christmas movie The Mistle-Tones with my Mom and this wonderful day ended with two of our best friends getting ENGAGED!! I'm soo excited CONGRATS Chris and Emily! 

Since I didn't get one posted last week, I do have a baby bump picture to post later this week and I also will post a poll to see if ya'll think it's a boy or it's a girl!

I'm also really hoping to get pics of my Christmas decorations up so stay tuned!

Weekend Recap and Catch Up!

Wow it sure has been awhile since I've blogged! I just really haven't had much to post about except the Baby and it hasn't been that exciting lately so I didn't feel the need to post! So let's catch up......

Our Thanksgiving was wonderful! We enjoyed spending it with all of our family and always love the holiday's so we can spend more time with family!

Now for this past weekend!

Friday morning was a Dr. appointment! We got to see our little baby and hear it's heartbeat. My Dr. also gave us a clue as to what it might be but we will have to wait until January to be sure! I am officially in my 2nd trimester and 14 weeks along! That afternoon and evening we stayed home and relaxed all day. 

 Saturday this sweet girl came to visit her Aunt and Uncle for a little while. She's such a little cutie and I love watching her grow!

After that we went out to eat that night at Fuji's with friends! It was such a good time and I love seeing our friends!

Here is a picture of the wreath I made! I love it! I do have all of our Christmas decorations up and will be posting pics of them soon! Now if only I could get all of our Christmas shopping done! 

Today I haven't felt good so I have stayed home but I think I've been feeling our little baby all day so that makes it better! The Hubby had to go back off to work for a week and so he left today! I miss him already but at least it's only a week this time! 

 I'm hoping to get a baby bump picture up this week and also a poll to see if ya'll think it's a boy or a girl! Enjoy your week!

Sickness = Lack of Posting

It has been way too long since I've posted! I have been sick and haven't been able to post. 

I came down with a horrible sinus infection and being pregnant it is hard to take medicine. So I finally got some medicine and started to feel better. Unfortunately, since I was already so sick I started getting sick to my stomach Saturday night and couldn't hold anything down all day Sunday. So by Monday I was still sick and called the doctor. They called me in some medicine to make me not get sick and I had to get an IV of fluids since I was a little dehydrated. I am better now and finally starting to gain my energy and strength back. 

I will hopefully be back to my normal posting now. I am getting very anxious to find out if we are having a Boy or a Girl. I have several Facebook friends due around the same time as me and they are starting to find out and now I want to know! My next doctor appointment is November 30th and I will be 13 weeks! 

I am also anxious for Thanksgiving! I love family time and eating! I'm also pretty excited for Black Friday, I am hoping to get most of my Christmas shopping done. I really want to be finished by the end of November, I have quite a list to work on though!

We're having a baby!!! 

We officially announced to everyone Sunday! We are so excited! I am 9 weeks and due on June 1, 2013! I am excited about this journey and can't wait to share it with you all! Be on the lookout for more details and baby bump pics, although, there's no baby bump yet!
