Long Pause...

Sorry for the break, I have been soo busy and I thought I would have time to blog but didn't! I am now taking some online classes through college and working on my singing career. So I have a whole lot to do! Let me catch you up on my lessons! I have recorded another new song and have been given an original song to work on now. We are fixing to start working on the demo album!! YAY!! As for classes I have tons of reading. It's not bad though just a lot to read! That's really all I have for today come back tomorrow for Five Favorites Friday :)

Five Favorites Friday and Lesson #3!

Sorry for the long break I just haven't felt like blogging lately, but I'm back and hopefully I will have more to blog about! First of all let me start by saying I had another GREAT lesson last Tuesday! I recorded again and was given a new song to work on. After I do this song I will be given my own song and not one someone else has already sang! YAY!! I can't wait! I will update you again after my next lesson! I have decided to start something new on Friday's so I am going to be doing FIVE FAVORITES FRIDAY!!! So for here are my five favorites for the first time!!

#1. My Hubby! Of course he's one of my favorites.
#2. My sweet little puppy Holli! She keeps my life exciting and always makes me laugh! Plus she is absolutly adorable!

#3. My Pink Blackberry Pearl! I love my phone I can't believe I never had a smartphone until now! I wouldn't go back now!

#4. My Family! I love them and wouldn't be who I am today without them!

#5. Singing! It's all I've ever wanted to do! I'm so glad to be getting the chance to do it professionally! I definately wouldn't change it for the world!

Lesson 2

I had my second lesson at the recording studio Monday! It was GREAT! I recorded my FIRST song and I now have a copy of it!! I'm soo excited! Even though the song I recorded is by Taylor Swift I am still enjoying having everyone listen to me on CD! So far everyone seems to like it! I was surprised though that recording was harder then I thought it would be! As hard as I had to work it was still tons of fun and well worth it when I got the finished project! It's very weird to hear yourself on CD but at the same time it is really cool too, I could listen to it over and over ha! Anyway I can't wait till my next lesson but I guess I will have to!

Walking In Memphis...

We spent the past weekend in Memphis, Heath had to go to a class for work and so I decided to go over along with a few of our friends! We had a lot of fun and it was nice to get away for the weekend!

Lesson 1

I had my first lesson at the recording studio yesterday! It went GREAT! We basically just did scale runs to see how much of a range my voice has! It was a lot of me me me's, lo, lo, lo's, and la, la la's! It was great though! My next lesson is on the 10th and they will be giving me a song to do!! I can't wait to hear it! This week I have been working on writing songs and so far so good! I haven't actually written a song yet, LOL, but I'm getting plenty of ideas! I am leaving for Memphis today! VERY EXCITED!! Heath has to go over there for a class for work and so I am going and a few of our friends are actually going to be there at the same time!! So I can't wait to spend a weekend away and to have some fun with friends! So I will be having lots of things to blog about so be ready!

Vroom Vroom!!

Saturday we went to the Centerville Drag Races so Heath and his friend could race their motorcycles!! It was pretty intresting watching all of the many different vehicles race each other for the best time! It was also very loud! But they had fun and I took pictures so I could share them with all of you! The pictures aren't the best because it was dark and I forgot to change my setting on my camera but you can still see some! It was a pretty fun weekend activity.

On Sunday we had Homecoming at our church! It was a GREAT day! We had church service then went to the gym to eat and enjoy catching up with some of the people that do not attend our church anymore. After eating we worked our way back upstairs for some singing and church history! After church we packed and headed back to Heath's job! It was all in all a good weekend!!

Weekend Recap...

This weekend was pretty good! We spent some time with friends and I had a HUGE meeting on Saturday with a recording studio! I am very excited to say that I am now starting lessons at the recording studio and will be in the process of recording my own cd!! YAY!! At the meeting they had me sing a song and do different tricks to improve it! They recorded it while I did it and the first time was ok, BUT by the last time I sang it the song sounded soo much better! It was amazing! I couldn't believe in five minutes it sounded that much better! So I'm pretty excited to see how I will sound after more lessons! I can't wait for my first lesson on August 6th! I'm also going to start writing my own music which sounds pretty exciting to me!! Anyway it was a pretty good weekend and now we are back to Monday!! Hope you all have a GREAT week!
