The Smell of Fall.....

Don't you just love the fall smells? Pumpkin and spice and apple! It's one of my favorite parts of fall! That and the leaves changing colors and of course all the holidays! I decorated a little for Halloween and thought you might want to see what I did! Soooo......

Here you go! I won all of these pumpkins at our Women's meeting for church and I bought the sign at Target for $2! Cute huh?
I also did some fall pictures of my little baby this week and after editing them I think they turned out good! Isn't she cute?

Race for the Cure 2009

Saturday I walked in the Race for the Cure with a group from our church! I really had a great time supporting breast cancer awareness and those that have dealt with this diasase. It was a chilly morning but finally warmed up some towards the end of the race. There were soo many people walking in the race and soo many amazing outfits and acts along the way. It was a GREAT day though and I can't wait till next year!

DIY IT!!

I decided to make these glitter pumpkins that I found on the Martha Stewart website! Mine don't look as good as hers but I really like them and think they will look nice with fall decorations!! So here's how I did it........

1. I used fake pumpkins but it will also work with real ones but you have to throw them away when they go bad!
2. First, I painted the pumpkin with a thin layer of Mod Podge.
3. Then I used regular glitter and sprinkled it on the pumpkin.
4. I shook of the excess glitter and then let them dry.
5. And here is how they turned out.........

I used two different colors of glitter.
I made this one for my Mom with just orange glitter.

This one is mine and it has a darker orange glitter on it!

Wins and a Wedding

I had a TERRIFIC weekend!! Heres how it went:

Friday: A wedding and a night at the Peabody hotel!

Saturday: Hogs win and dinner at my favorite resturant!

Sunday: Church, lunch with the family and the Cowboys win!!

Thursday Already?

Wow this week is flying by! I can't believe it's already Thursday!! I am very excited about this weekend though! Tomorrow night we have a wedding to go to and it will be beautiful I'm sure! Don't worry........I'll post pics Monday!! Anyway I'm glad to actually be getting to do something this weekend since I have been sick I haven't done anything for 3 weeks! UGH!! Anyway it should be fun and it's nice to get out! Plus I get to wear my new outfit and shoes.. ha! Soo for today I leave you with this................

I Have a Confession!

Confession #1: If NFL players wore pink all the time I would probably enjoy it more! I love the fact that they are supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month and I love seeing their pink gloves and shoes!! Ha What can I say I LOVE pink!!

Confession #2: I really do like Miley Cyrus! At first I didn't cause she was geared more towards kids but now that she is coming out with music that is older I really like her and her music! I know I know I didn't think it was possible either but she really does have some good songs! Oh and I am in LOVE with her new clothing line at Wal-mart! Mainly because she actually makes extra small clothes!

Holli says WOOOOO PIG SOOOIIIEEEE!!!!! The Hogs beat Texas A & M this weekend!! YAY!! I bought Holli this cute new toy! It's a bear with a Razorback on it!! She LOVES it!! I just gave it to her and she has now been playing with it for an hour!! HAHA soo cute!! Anyway, I hope you all had a FANTASTIC weekend!! Enjoy your week!
