WARNING: Long Post Ahead!

Unfortunately I have to start off with sad news! Actress Brittany Murphey has died at 32! It is a sad day for all of her family and friends and the ones that loved watching her act! I remember watching Brittany in Clueless, Uptown Girls, and her small role on the TV show Sister Sister! I pray for all of her friends and family during this difficult time.

Now on to a happier note, Friday night Heath and I along with my parents went to look at Christmas lights! We ate at a delicious BBQ place and then headed to the lights! It was a lot of fun looking at the pretty lights. We started at the drive thru light display and ended up at the state capitol!

The manger at the State Capitol!
Saturday night we went to a family Christmas party. We play the white elephant exchange and all of the kids draw each others name! It was a lot of fun spending time with family! I ended up coming away with a dvd holder and some gloves! Heath ended up with some towels(ha)!

He hates pictures!
Sunday I sang in our church Christmas cantata and enjoyed celebrating my Aunt and my cousin's birthday that afternoon! For the evening service the children put on their Christmas play and it was very cute! All in all it was a busy but GREAT weekend! Now I have to relax till Wednesday when more Christmas festivities start :)

Snuggie-less

Here is my sweet baby girl Holli! As you can see she doesn't have much hair so she gets cold on these chilly mornings and nights. Holli has a t-shirt she wears now that says naughty and nice....., but thats a Christmas shirt. Whatever will she do after Christmas? Her Razorback shirt is too big now that she had her hair cut sooo for Christmas Holli would like this:

Yep, that's right a snuggie! I mean why wouldn't she want one they are soo instyle now and she just shakes and shivers in the early mornings! So the snuggie is perfect for her! HMMMM...... maybe while I'm finishing my Christmas shopping tomorrow Holli will get one of these snuggies for Christmas from Santa! Guess she will have to wait till Christmas to find out!!

LET IT SNOW/CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES

First of all I would like to thank a sweet bloggy friend, Amy over at Just Add Walter for helping me put SNOW on my blog! Did you notice it? Look towards the top and the sides and you will see WHITE SNOW!! So Thanks Amy for your help!

This past weekend was kind of a slow weekend actually! Friday and Saturday night we stayed home and watched movies. Sunday we had a HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS party in the Sunday School class I help teach! They are soo cute we decorated small birthday cakes ( cupcakes), read the real story of Christmas, read the legend of the Candy Cane, and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus! They each had Happy Birthday party hats and those little Happy Birthday blowers! Of course they went away with birthday goodie bags mostly filled with tons of candy! We also gave out our class christmas presents then too! I gave them a candy cane I had made to look like a reindeer and some hershey kisses along with the legend of the candy cane story! I can't leave out that I also got a present!! I got the most adorable snowman coffee cup filled with tons of candy canes! It was really nice! They all seemed to have a GREAT time and they were just adorable celebrating Jesus' birthday!!

RECORDING UPDATE!

I have realized that since I have been so busy lately that I haven't updated my bloggy friends about my singing career lately! So here it goes:

Things are going really good at the recording studio now that I am finally well from being sick for about two months! My voice is still improving and getting stronger. I haven't recorded a new song lately as we have been working on making my voice stronger! I am working on writing my own songs still and haven't had much luck lately, I guess it's writers block! Everything is going really good and it is still the highlight of my week to go to the recording studio! Hopefully things will continue to go good and I will have my demo soon! EEEKKKK I can't wait! That's about it for now! I'll try to go back to updating you sooner I just don't have much to discuss about it some weeks! (HA yeah right!)
