This Is My Reality!

This will probably be the longest post that I have ever made! I would really like to post happy pictures of our Easter and talk about happy things but I can't. Last night a tornado hit my hometown. Luckily my whole family was safe and only a few had damage. It has always been a fear of mine to have a tornado hit my town. I never imagined the damage or the feeling that I can't even recognize some of my town. I'm just so thankful that everyone of our family is fine. Sadly four people were killed in our small town of Arkansas. I'm so sad for the ones that have basically lost everything and for the ones that lost their loved ones. Here are some pictures from the downtown area and these aren't even half of the damage done to our town.

Every news station in the state has been in our town. Along with the National Guard, Red Cross, Verizon Charging Stations, Walmart help trucks and many others.

My parents live right in the middle of town. Sonic is almost across the street. Thankfully their house was fine except for trees down.

Weekend Fun!

I tried to post this yesterday but blogger wouldn't let me :( so here it is a day late!

We had a pretty good weekend! On Friday I made this yummy dinner and we spent the rest of the night watching the new Harry Potter Movie! It's pretty good!

Easy Peasy Chicken Alfredo Recipe:

1 pkg. Tyson Grilled and Ready Chicken Strips

Half a pkg. of fettucini noodles

1 jar of Alfredo sauce

First boil the noodes according to the package. While the noodles are boiling cook the chicken strips according to it's package. When the noodles and chicken are both done mix them together and add the Alfredo sauce. Heat for a few minutes and it's ready to serve!

On Saturday we had a lazy afternoon, that night we went to eat at one of our favorite places called Fuji's it's a japanese steakhouse! YUM!! After that we met up with a couple of friends and went bowling! It was a lot of fun!

Today was church day and we had communion tonight at church. It was very good and makes me ready for this week leading up to Easter.

Speaking of Easter I decided to post the few Easter decorations I have in my house! I wanted more but just didn't buy any :( oh well it will due for this year!

And It Begins........

Well, I'm sitting here listening to the thunder and the rain and hoping that we don't have any bad storms tonight! I hate storms! There are tornado warnings popping up everywhere though! :( Hopefully it won't get too bad! Anyway, lately I have just not really felt like blogging! Just had other things to do and nothing to really talk about! Cake class is going good, we are just learning to make the different flowers so I have no pictures of big cakes to post. I went shopping with my Mom today so we could get our Easter dresses! I'm soo excited about mine! I can't wait to wear it and post pics! I just have to buy some shoes and jewlery to go with it! I also gotta find an Easter shirt for the Hubby, I mean we both gotta look good! I have done laundry since about 5 this evening. I decided to wait to fold and hang them till I had them all done! Probably not the best idea since they are now piled high on my couch and I'm on my last couple of loads! HA! Oh well, I don't know if you got much from this post! I think it's mostly crazy ramblings from me! HA! Have a great Friday guys and an even better weekend!

My fabulous Hubby bought me this kindle for Valentine's Day this year! I absolutly love it and have hardly put it down.



I recently bought the book Water for Elephants and have just finished it! I LOVED the book and I can't wait to watch the movie! Here is the trailer.....

Home and a Finale!

First off, Heath came home this morning from Mississippi and surprised me! I'm glad to have him back home!

Last Monday was my Mom and I's final beginner cake class! We had to make a finale cake and it could be anything we wanted! I made a flower!

The icing on the side isn't the best since we were in a hurry and didn't have much time to finish! I think it's really cute though! We start our next class making flowers on Monday! I hope my flowers turn out good! Just thought I'd stop by for a quick update! Don't worry there is plenty more to come and this weather is beautiful outside! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
