Organizing

I have spent the day today organizing things in my room and getting my wedding things in order. I am hoping to take all of my bridesmaids dress hunting sometime in January. I will be sure to let each of you know the exact date. I am still undecided on bridesmaids dresses. I know that I don't want them all to be the same because I just don't think some girls look good in certain dresses. I know that I want them all to be in blue and that I want long dresses. As for the exact design I don't know. Our engagement pictures should be here this week and I will definately post them as soon as I get them. I have previewed a few of them online and I love them. They are really good and I can't wait to show everyone. Hopefully they will be here tomorrow but I am really thinking it will be more like Wednesday. As soon as I get the pictures I will be working on doing our save the dates. I want to get them out in January. So far it's looking like January will be a busy month. I go back to school on the 12th, I am attending the Brad Paisley/Dierks Bentley concert (I have floor seats), my birthday is this month, I have to do bridesmaid dresses and save the dates. Whew, looks like I am going to be pretty busy.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra

The fiance bought us tickets to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra! I absolutly loved the show. It was amazing. The many different lights, fire, with the combination of their amazing music is wonderful. I personally can not do them justice. At some points throughout the show it snowed inside the arena! It was so cool. When the lights would hit the snow it looked like glitter! If you have never seen them or even heard their music I highly recommend that you do! The show is very good and is definately worth spending the money on! The orchestra also stayed after the show to give autographs! Our tickets are signed and they also gave out guitar picks! This is the most amazing orchestra I have ever seen and I think that everyone should see them at some point. I have posted pictures of the concert but trust me even the pictures don't do them justice.

I am finally getting around to posting about Christmas. We had a terrific Christmas. On Christmas eve we went over to the fiance's parents house and had Christmas with his parents and his grandmother. We had a really good time he got lots and lots of clothes which is all he wanted. I got coca-cola dishes, a cookie jar, glasses, some clothes, and coca-cola silverware. I am doing my kitchen in coca-cola so that should explain all the coke stuff. His mom also made us each a blanket. My blanket is pink John Deere and the fiance's is brown John Deere. They are really nice and warm! Christmas morning was spent with my parents. I got tons of clothes and a cute new purse. The fiance got some clothes and a Gander Mountain gift card. After Christmas with my parents we went to our church to have Christmas with my Mom's aunts and uncles! We played dirty santa and had lots of fun. Then that night we went to my Aunt's house and had christmas with my cousins. We always draw names and by gifts that way. After that we came back to my parents house and played mexican dominos. I won the first game and the fiance won the second game. We ate and ate all day but the food was soo good. I hope everyone had just as good a christmas as we did.

Tonight!

I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas! I will post more about christmas later but for now I would like to post about what I am doing tonight! The fiance and I are going to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra tonight! He got us tickets and we are right by the stage! I can't wait! We have both seen them before and loved everything about the show! I have lots of cleaning to do since I got so many christmas presents! I will try to post tomorrow but for now this is it!

Whew it has been quite a weekend! I don't think I have really rested since Wednesday! On Thursday my Mom and I went and finished our christmas shopping!! yay!! I am done! Then Friday we were wrapping presents and finishing up some christmas projects. Saturday we had the Fowlkes family christmas and were supposed to go to the fiance's family for a christmas as well! But the fiance ended up working untill 10 and we did not get to go to his family christmas! Sunday we had christmas at our church on Sunday morning! Since I am a assistant teacher at our church I got a few gifts! I got a beautiful angel that says hope on it, some candy (yum), and a couple christmas ornaments that my cousin Tanner made me! We also finally got to do our secret sis exchange and my secret sis ended up being Nancy! She gave me a $25 gift card to Ruby Tuesday's which I'm sure the fiance and I will be using soon! We also drew for our new secret sis and I am very excited to start giving my new one gifts! Then that afternoon we went christmas caroling to some of the older people in our church! They all really seemed to enjoy it and Ms. Vonnie had hot chocolate (that was delicious) and cookies for us waiting at her house! After christmas caroling we had to go to my aunt's house for her birthday party! I finally managed to get home at about 8! I thought I would post some pictures of a few christmas items around our house!

This is an ornament I made for my mom! It has an R on it for our last initial! I stole this ornament idea from the blog Kelly's Korner! So I have to give her credit for the idea!

And this is what my new initial will be next christmas!! Needless to say I haven't done much wedding stuff! I did look at some bridesmaid dresses on David's Bridal! I haven't decided on any yet! I have a few days of nothing to do untill christmas eve! So maybe I will do some stuff then! This is a really long post so I hope you didn't get bored reading it! I will try to post some this week but I'm not sure how much time I will have!

MY EXTREMELY SWEET FiANCE BRAVED THE iCY ELEMENTS AND WENT AND GOT ME A COMPUTER CORD FOR MY LAPTOP SiNCE iT HAS BEEN DOWN FOR A WEEK! i AM SOO GLAD TO HAVE iT BACK! i AM OFFiCiALLY ON CHRiSTMAS BREAK NOW!! YESTERDAY i MADE SOME VERY CUTE CHRiSTMAS ORNAMENTS SO i WiLL POST SOME PiCS SOON OF THEM! TONiGHT WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE OUR SECRET SiSTER REVEAL PARTY BUT DUE TO THE WEATHER iT HAS BEEN CHANGED :( NO FiNDiNG OUT WHO MY SECRET SiSTER iS TONiGHT! SO iNSTEAD SiNCE THE PARTY HAS BEEN CANCELLED THE FiANCE AND i ARE GOiNG OUT TO EAT AT CHiLi'S FOR A FRiENDS BiRTHDAY PARTY! ONCE AGAiN WE ARE GOiNG TO HAVE TO GET OUT iN THE iCY MESS! Today my Mom and I took Holli to have her picture made with Santa at Petsmart! She didn't really like Santa too much! I love her picture though it's really cute! I also like the fact that half of the money from our picture purchase goes to help the Humane Society! I am considering taking Shadow to have his picture taken with Santa too! After we were finished we took Holli back home and went back to town to do some Christmas shopping. I got my secret sister's gift for tuesday night and I hope she will love it! I also got my Christmas Outfit for the Sunday service before Christmas! I am very pleased with it, it's really cute! I really can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner! It seems like December just started! Oh and by the way our big day is 7 months away today!! YIKES!! I need to start planning more! Anyway I hope you are having a fabulous Christmas season!

Hello

Hello everyone, sorry it has been so long! I am finished with three of my finals and only have two left! I am very glad they are almost over! So I haven't had much wedding planning time lately with finals and all! I should be able to get back to that after Monday! Tomorrow my Mom and I are taking Holli to get her picture made with santa! I'm so excited about it! I can't wait to see how it turns out. We are also going to be doing some much needed christmas shopping tomorrow. So that's it for now! Have a fabulous weekend!!

BUSY BUSY BUSY!

I have been very busy lately. This past weekend I was in the Madrigal Feaste for choir on friday and saturday night. Sunday I attended A Keyboard Christmas at Woodland Heights Church in Conway. It was very good I just love piano music. This week is finals week! I have been studying all day. I am finished with one of my classes but I still have four more tests to take. So needless to say I have not had much time to do wedding stuff and probably won't untill finals are over. So I am not sure when I will be posting next I still have tons of studying to do! I will post as soon as I can! Have a wonderful week!

Helpful Hints!

I bought this book at Hastings on saturday for $6! I had read that it was a really helpful book so I decided to get it and see! So far I really like it, it gives lists on every little detail for your big day! I think it would be very helpful for every bride. Online you can get it for $12 mine was used so that is why I got it so cheap! Yesterday was the first day back to school from the break! It wasn't so bad! Finals start in a week and then we are out for a whole month!! It is definately time to get some new classes. Anyway hope you enjoy the rest of the week!
