My First Mother's Day!!

I unexpectedly got to celebrate my first Mother's Day and it was also Emmalyn's first time to go to church! I had a wonderful day! We went to church where I was given 2 roses and my Hubby also gave me a card! After church we went to eat lunch at my aunt's house and then we headed home. I took a nap and relaxed the rest of the day! I already enjoy being a mother and can't wait for many more Mother's days to come! 

Easter 2013

Easter did not turn out like I expected it too! My day started off with the news of a horrible accident at my Husband's work. As I was getting ready for church I read about it on a radio station page on Facebook. I immediately thought that even though the station made it sound like it was a small accident I was glad that my Husband was working nights and already home in bed. So I continued getting ready for church. As I was just about to leave Heath received a phone call and it woke him up. The accident was much worse then the station made it sound, one person had been killed and several were injured. Heath didn't get to go into work that night because they didn't want anyone in the plant. I'm so thankful he wasn't there when the accident happened! 

We had a wonderful church service and then a wonderful lunch with family.

Monday Madness

It's another rainy day here in Arkansas and I woke up feeling a little yucky!

However, my Hubby brightened my day by sending me these beautiful flowers! Yellow roses are my favorite! He is definitely the best! 

The weekend was pretty good, I participated in this great event Friday night there is more to come on this event! 

Saturday my Mom came and helped me work some on Emmalyn's room. Sunday was of course church and I went with the bestie Emily to a bridal fair that afternoon. We had a lot of fun picking out stuff for their wedding. 

Today seems to be the only free day I have until Friday, it seems like it's going to be a busy week. Although it sure makes the week go by faster when it is! 

Weekend Recap!

Our weekend started off with playing games with my parents on Friday night. Saturday I went and registered for Miss Emmalyn. That night we went out to eat with friends and then played games. Today, the Hubby left to go back off to work so I have spent most of the day catching up on my TV shows. I gotta say that The Bachelor is not very exciting this time. I don't know they just kind of all get on my nerves. I have a busy week ahead it looks like so hopefully I'll have more to blog about and time to blog. I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Christmas 2012

I'm finally posting about our Christmas! I feel so behind and almost didn't even post about it because I feel like it's in the past already lol! I decided to post about it anyway so if you are reading this blog I hope you don't think I'm too far behind. 

We had a wonderful Christmas as usual. However, I kept thinking about how exciting next years Christmas will be with our new baby! I can't wait to watch him or her enjoy the day. We spent Christmas Eve at Heath's parents house and then Christmas morning with my family. We usually have Christmas morning at my parents house but since they are building a house and are currently living in a camper we had it at our house. We got so many great gifts although I didn't post half of them, we are truly blessed to have such wonderful families. Hubby got me a Northface Jacket and a charm for my bracelet and I got him a new bow and a case for it. Sadly, we didn't make it to all of our Christmas' this year because we had a snow and ice storm and couldn't make it to Heath's grandparents and I sure missed going. Anyway, here are some pictures of our Christmas!

Snow Day 2012!

We got a white Christmas after all! It started snowing about 5 on Christmas night and didn't stop till after midnight. So we have had a wonderful snow day today! Thankfully unlike so many we didn't lose our electricity so we still had a nice warm house. We got at least 10 inches I love the snow when I have no where to be so it's fine to stick around a couple of days just not too long :)!

The babies weren't too fond of the snow. They really hate to go out in it but Cash is fine with it after he gets in it! We spent the day playing in the snow and enjoyed watching movies the rest of the day! It's been a fabulous day! We also had a wonderful Christmas which I will post pics of later! I don't have them uploaded yet! We get to find out if we are having a boy or a girl next Friday so don't forget to vote in the poll at the top of my blog! 

Weekend Recap

Friday I went up to Branson with my Mom and Dad for the day! It was nice to get away for a little while and I really enjoyed seeing the Christmas lights at Silver Dollar City! On the way home the Hubby surprised me by coming in from work. I was so excited to get home after I found out!

Saturday I tried to finish my Christmas shopping but wasn't successful. That evening we went out to eat at Olive Garden with our 2 best friends then came home and relaxed!

Sunday was the Christmas play at church. I received some great little gifts from my adorable Sunday school kiddos and loved watching them in the play. That afternoon we went to the mall with my parents to work on our shopping. We ended the night by eating at Coleton's. 

It was a great weekend and a very busy one. This week starts some of our Christmas parties and I look forward to every single one of them! Hope you all have a great week!

Weekend Recap and Catch Up!

Wow it sure has been awhile since I've blogged! I just really haven't had much to post about except the Baby and it hasn't been that exciting lately so I didn't feel the need to post! So let's catch up......

Our Thanksgiving was wonderful! We enjoyed spending it with all of our family and always love the holiday's so we can spend more time with family!

Now for this past weekend!

Friday morning was a Dr. appointment! We got to see our little baby and hear it's heartbeat. My Dr. also gave us a clue as to what it might be but we will have to wait until January to be sure! I am officially in my 2nd trimester and 14 weeks along! That afternoon and evening we stayed home and relaxed all day. 

 Saturday this sweet girl came to visit her Aunt and Uncle for a little while. She's such a little cutie and I love watching her grow!

After that we went out to eat that night at Fuji's with friends! It was such a good time and I love seeing our friends!

Here is a picture of the wreath I made! I love it! I do have all of our Christmas decorations up and will be posting pics of them soon! Now if only I could get all of our Christmas shopping done! 

Today I haven't felt good so I have stayed home but I think I've been feeling our little baby all day so that makes it better! The Hubby had to go back off to work for a week and so he left today! I miss him already but at least it's only a week this time! 

 I'm hoping to get a baby bump picture up this week and also a poll to see if ya'll think it's a boy or a girl! Enjoy your week!

Weekend Recap!

I am finally starting to gain my strength back and have been out and about. Most of the weekend has been good. 

Friday afternoon I went with my Mom to Dazzle Daze! We go every year and always have a great time. Friday night the Hubby came in from working out of town and I'm so glad he's back home. 

Saturday we ate lunch at Chili's with friends and then went to a birthday party that night. 

Today the Hubby has been hunting and I went to church. It hasn't been the best day but I'm keeping my head up. I'd also like to ask for prayers for a friends Mom who was in a terrible car accident Saturday night and isn't doing good. 

I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I hope you all enjoy your week and I'm hoping to get a baby bump picture up soon even though there's no bump yet! 

Labor Day Weekend 2012!

Friday night we went out to eat with my Mom and Dad and our niece Evie!

Saturday We relaxed most of the day until it was time to watch the first Razorback game of the season which we won!! We went to a friends house and enjoyed yummy food and great friends! It was a good day!

Sunday we ate supper with Heath's parents! It was delicious and a great time!

Monday (Labor Day) I gave a piano lesson and then we went to cook out with my parents, my brother, sis in law, and Evie!

It was a great weekend! Today we went to physical therapy for the Hubs, we ate with my parents since my dad had physical therapy too. It's been a great few days! The Hubby goes back to work tomorrow :( Hope you all enjoy your short week! 

Late Weekend Recap

Friday we didn't do much at all but had a relaxing night at home with the Hubs!

Saturday- I went shopping with my Momma and she got me this adorable bracelet!

Saturday night we went to a friends birthday party.

Sunday- I woke up with the stomach virus which is the reason for this post being late! I'm just now recovered! It was quite the bad day and I was still feeling bad on Monday! :(

Thankfully I feel tons better today and am almost back to normal! I gave piano and voice lessons today and relaxed the rest of the evening with the Hubby! Hope you all are enjoying your week! 

Random Thursday

Just thought I'd post an update of how our week is going! Hubby got his stitches out yesterday and gets to go back to work Monday! I'm thankful he actually gets to work close to home for a change. 

It's official I'm looking forward to fall. I can't wait for football, fall scents, pumpkins, and all the great things that come with fall! Fall and Summer are my favorite seasons when Winter comes I just want to hybrinate.

We've just been enjoying the last few weeks of summer. Going to the Hubby's physical therapy, spending time with friends and family, and trying to relax as much as we can!

Weekend Recap!

The Hubs and I were in a wedding this weekend! Two of our friends got married! We got to get away for the weekend. The girls all stayed in a cabin while the boys stayed in a hotel room. It was a beautiful wedding and I am so happy for our friends!

Weekend Recap

Hi all! It's been a pretty good weekend! Friday night I went to a bachlorette party! It was nice to get out and we had fun! I can't wait for their wedding this coming weekend, me and the Hubs are both in the wedding!

Saturday night we went to my Uncle's 60th birthday party and then played Phase 10 with Chris and Emily!

Sunday was a birthday party for my cousin Jeffrey and Jena and I got to spoil my sweet niece.

I also watched the closing of the London Olympics! I'm sad it's over I love watching the Olympics. I was super excited to see the Spice Girls reunite! I know I'm a dork!

Hubby's hand is feeling better he has to go for physical therapy 3 times a week! My Dad is also doing good as well as my Uncle. I know it's just been crazy around here! Anyway, thought I'd leave you a picture of half the family minus the Sis-in-Law and Evie!

Hubby Has Surgery!

It's been quite a week. Monday Heath had to have emergency surgery on his hand because it had an infection in it an they had to clean it out! Most likely, we haven't heard for sure yet, but, they are pretty sure he had staph. So we spent Monday night in the hospital and came home Tuesday! Then Wednesday morning we had to be at his doctor so they could rewrap it and make sure everything looked good! His hand is pretty nasty looking and it almost made me pass out! He starts physical therapy on it Friday afternoon! While the Hubby was in the hospital my uncle, my Dad's oldest brother was in the hospital with a heart attack and had to have a pacemaker put in Tuesday! He's home now and doing good! Needless to say we haven't been doing much but staying home and watching the olympics! Which I'm loving! Please say a prayer for us that Heath's hand heals quickly and that our family can stay out of the hospital for once!

Weekend!!

This weekend was pretty laid back and relaxed! I'm glad it was cause I really could use it! Friday night I had Mary Kay Boot Camp at my director's house. It was so much fun and I'm so glad I went, I really learned a whole lot. Saturday I spent the afternoon decorating the church for our Vacation Bible School this week. Saturday night the Hubby and I enjoyed a relaxing evening outside talking to the neighbors. It was nice to just relax. Sunday night started our Vacation Bible School so it was a fun and eventful night. I look forward to this week with all these adorable kiddos. After VBS I went to my Brother and Sis-in-Law's for a little bit so I got to see this sweet girl!

I just love her! It was Auntie day I found out thanks to Facebook so of course she had on the perfect outfit! It's going to be a busy but exciting week. I hope you all have a terrific week!

P.S. My Dad is doing good and goes to the doctor tomorrow. 

Whirlwind

It's been a CRAZY month so far! So crazy I haven't had much time to blog.

July 2nd we celebrated Heath's 28th birthday.

July 3rd our sweet niece Evelynn Jo Vianne was born! 

July 7th my Dad had a mild heart attack and was admitted to the hospital.

July 9th my Dad had heart surgery and ended up with 5 bypasses.

I'm so thankful my Dad is doing good and getting to come home tomorrow! It has been a very hard week and I'm lucky to have such wonderful family and friends. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as my Dad recovers from his surgery! I am beyond ready for things to be back to normal! I hope you all are doing well and I hope to be back to the blog world!

Weekend Fun!

We had a fun weekend! Friday night we went out to eat at Senor Tequila with some friends and then went to see Men in Black 3! It was really good! Saturday, I had a facial to do that morning then I had to go to my Sister-in- Laws baby shower!

After the shower we had a birthday party for a foster child that my In-Laws have. It was such a fun time and delicious food! Sunday, was church and relaxing with the babies and now I'm watching the Miss USA pageant!

Memorial Day Weekend 2012!

First of all I'd like to thank all of our troops past present and future! I could never thank you enough!

Let me start on Thursday! The Hubby and I decided to take an impromptu trip to Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missori. It was such a nice little getaway even though the park was crowded!

Friday we did absolutely nothing! It was so nice to relax for a change!

Saturday the Hubby had a fishing tournament with his Dad so I did some Mary Kay facials!

Sunday we went to church and then went out to eat at Cracker Barrel for lunch with my parents and brother and sis in law! After lunch we decided to set up the pool!

After setting up the pool we decided to go see the Avengers movie with a couple of our friends! I loved the movie it was so funny!

Monday I did a couple facials and gave a piano lesson, then we went to a cookout with my family!

All in all it was a fabulous weekend! It's almost time to head to bed and get ready for some more facials tomorrow and hopefully some relaxing in the pool! :)  

Busy Weekend

We had a very busy but fun weekend! We had two weddings to attend one on Friday night and one on Saturday they were both such beautiful weddings and I'm very happy for both couples. We got to spend most of the weekend with our friends since we were going to the weddings.

Saturday morning I had a Mary Kay event at the Peabody Hotel and I had to bring a guest so I took Stevi. We had a blast and I am so inspired and filled with great ideas from that morning. 

Sunday was filled with church, napping, and working on Mary Kay stuff! So tonight I am relaxing with my loves and enjoying the free time.
