Cupcakes Take the Cake!

Last week in our cake decorating class we decorated cupcakes! I absolutly loved decorating cupcakes it's by far my favorite so far.

So without further ado! Here are my cupcakes.....

Sorry the pictures aren't the best I don't know what was up with my camera lol! I'm a little behind on blogging lately I hope to catch back up but lately all I've really been doing is cake decorating lol! Anyway have a great week!

A Little Update!

As I told you before I am taking a cake decorating class with my Mom. We decorated our first cake for my Aunt's birthday last Sunday. It's a Razorback cake of course! Don't be too critical it's our first one.

Our second cake decorating class we actually did make a cake! This is the one I made.
I think I could have done a little better but it's still not bad!

This week is cupcake week! YAY!! Who doesn't love cupcakes?

On Thursday I took a trip to Wye Mountain with my cousins. Wye Mountain is a Daffodil festival that has hundereds of daffodil's it's just beautiful!

A New Adventure!

My Mom and I recently decided to begin learning how to decorate a cake! So we signed up at my favorite store, Hobby Lobby, for the Wilton Cake Decorating Classes. Our first class was Monday night and we learned the Star technique and got to decorate some cookies. So without further ado here are my cookies.......

I think it's pretty good considering it's my first time ever doing something like this! Next week we actually are doing a cake and we have to make buttercream icing (YUM)! I'll be sure to keep you updated in our progress!

Wee Bit of Me Wednesdays!

{one} do you wear holey jeans? If so, do you buy them that way?Haha! I actually got some holey jeans for Christmas! I haven't worn them yet and my hubby thought I was crazy! {two} do you get a full 8 hours of sleep per night?I probably get more and I'm sure I don't get 8 hours every night! Haha but most nights! {three} what's your favorite way to eat an oreo?I like to twist it and eat the half with the least amont of icing first then the other half! {four} do you wear shoes in your house?Yes! I had foot surgery when I was about 12 and I can't stand to go without shoes afraid I will step on something! I do take them off occasionally! HA! {five} who would you call first if you won the lottery?I would call Heath and then my parents! {six} have you ever been in a food fight?Nope or at least I don't think so! {seven} do you snore?Nope! {eight} do you know how fast you type?Nope I do type pretty fast but have no idea how fast that is! {nine} can you do a headstand (without using the wall)?I can't even do one using the wall lol! {ten} how do you like your popcorn?Buttered and Salted just like the movies!
