Long Time No Blog......

Sorry for being absent lately, I have been very busy this past week and weekend! I'm sure you all want to know what I have been up to that could possibly keep me away from my blog for so long. Well, last Tuesday we had a Valentine party for our church ladies. It was so much fun. Everyone decorated a Valentine box and passed out Valentine's, it was like being a kid again! We had a delicious meal of spaghetti, salad, and a yummy cake. The devotion was very good and we just had a lot of fun.

As if that night wasn't busy enough we had a spa party for the little girls on Wednesday night. We painted fingernails and toenails and they had a blast. They got to eat lots of cookies and some Subway sandwiches. They all wore their pajamas and cute house shoes. It was lots of fun.

Heath took me shopping on Friday and I got quite a few cute new shirts. I'm ready for summer now so I can wear all of them. After we went shopping we went to my Mom and Dad's and played games and ate supper. It was fun to relax a little.

Saturday my Mom and I went to a Pampered Chef party. They had amazing food there it was soo yummy. I ordered a couple of things so hopefully they will be in soon.

All in all I have been very busy and could use some time away to relax. At least I'm having fun right? Anyway, have you watched American Idol this week? It's down to the top 24! I will be posting American Idol Thursday on Friday this week since the show will be on Thursday night too! I hope you are watching so you will know what I'm talking about ha! Anyway the week is halfway over so that means the weekend is not too far behind! YAY!

AMERICAN IDOL THURSDAY

Sorry it's a little late today I have been very busy!

So we finally have the top 24! I am pretty happy with who they chose. Most of the ones I wanted to go have made it to the top 24. I was a little sad that Charity Vance didn't get to go and Hope Johnson. I really liked both of those. I can't wait for the actual competition to start. I think Ellen is doing better than I expected her to. I still think it's weird to see her on there instead of Paula but she isn't doing to bad. I don't know what they will do when Simon leaves next season. I don't think anyone can replace him. Anyway my favorite guys are Andrew Garcia and Aaron Kelley. I like a bunch of the girls. I like Crystal Bowersox, Didi Benami, Haeley Vaughn, Katie Stevens, and Lilly Scott. I can't wait to see them actually performing.

Valentine's Weekend!

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a GREAT Valentine's weekend! We started out Friday by Heath taking me to our favorite place to eat Fuji's. It was soo good and they give you so much food! I have enough leftovers to last me a week ha! Saturday my Mom and I went to finish up our Valentine's gift shopping and let me tell you it was hectic! I always seem to wait till the last minute for Valentine's day so of course everyone does too! After I got back home we had some friends come over to hang out. Heath fixed some yummy steak and potatoes. It was soo good. Sunday (Valentine's Day) I headed to church this morning and we had a valentine's party in our Sunday School class! They had tons of fun and they were excited about all their valentine's and candy! Sunday afternoon we had lunch with my family like usual and then came home to relax. We finally exchanged our gifts, Heath got me chocolate with a bear, a heart charm and a dog charm for my braclet, and a sweet card. I gave him some Razorback playing cards and this Razorback vinyl car sticker. It started snowing again :( I am ready for it to go away. Thankfully it didn't snow very long and it didn't stick. We were going to go to church Sunday night but since I wasn't feeling good we decided to stay home and relax. It was a great Valentine's day and I'm glad Heath was home for it.

I guess I am dreaming of 85 degree weather because today I was looking online and decided to buy this amazingly cute shirt.

I LOVE it and can't wait till it comes in the mail!

I am so ready to be in flipflops and tanktops, but instead I'm in boots and scarves. Maybe summer will come soon! Hey a girl can dream right?

TGIF!

Happy Friday Everyone! I am very excited about this weekend! First of all tonight is the opening ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. I love to watch the olympics and could spend all day watching it ha!

I am sad to hear about the Olympic Luger that was killed doing his practice run. That is just awful and I can't believe that happened. I would be terrified to do that after watching him crash or even just hearing about it! I guess that you have to really love what you are doing though! Anyway, some of my favorite olympic events are Ice skating, Bobsled, Snowboarding, and the ski jump. What are some of yours?

I'm sure all of you know that it is Valentine's weekend! I am very excited about that! I didn't think that Heath was going to be home for Valentine's but since he is I can't wait to spend our first married Valentine's day together! I don't know what we are going to do but it will be a good day no matter what!

Since it is Valentine's day and I probably won't be blogging till after the weekend I wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day to all my bloggy friends!

AMERICAN IDOL THURSDAY

Hollywood week began Tuesday and Ellen made her first apperance as an American Idol judge. I actually didn't think she was that bad but I still don't really know how to take it! I'm not sure yet, I don't think I will really know until they are they are done with Hollywood week. I was surprised by how some of the contestants did on Tuesday. I did not expect some of them to do so bad. I also could not believe the contestant that his wife was having their first child and he was in Hollywood for American Idol! That had to be terrible for her! Wednesday was when they had to do group performance. I really hate it when they do groups. I could not handle all the drama of being in a group. I was not very impressed with most of these except for a couple. I didn't really see where they sent home a lot of people from the groups. It just was not a good night to me. I don't really like Hollywood week so I am ready for that to be through and them to be on the stage actually competiting.

I'm So Excited and I Just Can't Hide It!

Guess what?? HEATH IS HOME!!! He came in yesterday at around 8 in the morning. I was still at my Mom and Dad's so he stopped in and picked me up! I'm so glad he is back home!

Anyway, there is still tons of snow on the ground! Which means we are still snowed in :( We are expected to get more Thursday/Friday! It looks like we will be stuck here a little longer! Church is cancelled tonight since everyone is still basically snowed in! Hopefully we will be able to get out soon! This is the most snow I have ever seen here!

SNOW GLOBE!

This morning I was supposed to go to the recording studio, instead, I woke up feeling like I was in a snow globe! I could not leave in my car so I didn't get to go! My brother came and rescued me about 1:00 so I wouldn't be home alone! So now I am at my Mom and Dad's relaxing and staying warm! Here are some pictures I have taken of the snow today! I will have more tomorrow because we are going to build a snowman and probably go sledding! This is really crazy it never snows this much in Arkansas! It is supposed to snow another 3 to 5 inches tonight and they are predicting more on Thursday and Friday. I never expected this!

I just can't believe we have this much snow! I think this is the most snow I have ever seen! I can't wait to play in it some tomorrow!

AMERICAN IDOL THURSDAY

Tuesday- Auditions were held in Denver with Victoria Beckham back as a guest judge. I actually loved her as a judge I thought she was soo sweet but she also knew when to tell people that they just weren't good singers. I didn't really think they had many go that night but it was not a horrible audition show. I just think it's so funny to watch some of these people sing. I guess that's mean but really people think before you act!

Wednesday- This was more of a recap of the auditions. I actually really enjoyed this one! They showed some of the singers that they put through to Hollywood and most of them were really good!

So from the Season 9 auditions my favorite audition spot was Atlanta. I really liked Victoria Beckham, Kristen Chenoweth, and Niel Patrick Harris as the guest judges.

Next week they are in HOLLYWOOD!! Ellen Degeneres will be joining the judging panel and I am anxious to see how that goes. I'm not so sure that I will like her as a judge. I guess we will find out! I am not so fond of Hollywood week. It's just kind of weird to me. So until next week................that's it for now!

Tuesday Tidbits!

1. I feel like I haven't blogged in forever even though I just did last Friday!

2. I am so glad to finally be out after being trapped inside by the snow for 3 days!

3. Did anyone else think Taylor Swift's Grammy performance was terrible? I love her but that was just awful!

4. I am almost done writing my first song!

5. Who watched the Miss America pagent? I didn't expect to see Miss. Virgina win, I thought it would have been Miss Hawaii or Miss California but I think she is very pretty and the dress was amazing!

6. Does anyone know how to make your blog into a 3 column. If you do I could use your help because I am confused and don't know how to do it!

7. Most of my weekend consisted of eating junk food, playing mexican dominos, working puzzles, and trying to stay warm with all that snow.

8. I can't wait to watch American Idol tonight!

9. I am one lucky girl! I have the best Husband, family, and friends ever!
