Happy Memorial Day

I wanted to take the time today to say Thank You to all the soldiers that have or are serving for our country! Happy Memorial Day!

Hi everyone!! First of all I would like to say that I am soo glad Kris Allen won American Idol!! I truly think he deserved his win! This has been a very very busy week for me! I finally managed to get all of the wedding invitations out this week!! YAY!! Besides finishing making the invitations I have had a Mother/Daughter Banquet, church, and plus my Brother and Sister-in-Law were home for a couple of days so I spent time with them. I am very very excited about this weekend! We are going to be attending RIVERFEST!!!! So I am very excited to see all the great perfomers live in concert!! Plus since I didn't get to spend much time with Heath last weekend I can't wait for him to be home this weekend!! Also I can't wait for Memorial Day Monday, I just LOVE all holidays and we should always remember our soldiers. I feel like I have been out of the blog world for a while being soo busy but hopefully I can go do some blog lurking after this post :) So have a terrific weekend everyone oh and what are you doing this Memorial Day weekend??

Busy....

I have been extremely busy the past couple of days. I have made quite some progress in the wedding plans this week. I worked on making the invitations. I must say I really like them and can't wait for everyone to see them. I have begun decorating my flower girl buckets. I will be posting pictures of that process when it is complete! I got the ringbearer pillows and I really like them. My Mom got her Mother-Of-The-Bride dress. It is very pretty. I picked up a few things for my bridesmaids. Last but definately not least... I picked up my wedding dress!! It's beautiful and I love it. I'm very excited to wear it! Now I just have a few wedding accessories to get to go with it and it will be completed. I almost need this weekend to relax but I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.

I'm not exactly positive of the plans I have for the weekend! I know I have a few things to do tomorrow and then I don't know what else. Heath gets in tonight so I will be spending time with him later. I'm very excited to have crossed off so many things this week! Now on to crossing more items off the list :)

American Idol and a Link!

So it's TUESDAY!! Which means American Idol comes on tonight!! I can't wait! I don't think I have ever been soo excited to watch American Idol as I am tonight! I can't wait to see all the clips they show of Kris tonight! Today I have made lists of everything I have to do before the wedding since it's only a month away tomorrow! Whew... What a Weekend!

First of all I hope every Mom had a FABULOUS Mother's Day! It was rainy here but all in all a good day! So now on to my busy weekend! On Friday I went with my Mom to Conway to do a few wedding things! We really didn't do much just checked prices on which was cheaper and a better deal! That evening I went with Sarah to watch Kris Allen (you can view those pictures in the post below)! I was home about 6:30 and then ate supper with the family. Heath came in that night about 8 and we spent the rest of the evening relaxing and watching tv! Saturday Heath had a class to go to so I went to Conway with my Mom again for more wedding stuff. We ordered the serving set a couple of bridesmaids gifts (shh.... I'm not telling), ordered the napkins, and got the cake topper. That night after Heath got home we went to eat at Shotgun Dan's and later a few friends came over. On Mother's Day I went to church and we had a great class and serman. All the Mom's received a red rose. After church was lunch with the family and it was very good. When I got home Heath was home and we took his mom her Mother's Day gift. After that we came home and had a lazy Sunday afternoon. After Heath left to go back to work I got addresses together for some showers and e-mailed them to the approiate places. Then I finished writing all of my Thank You cards from the last shower! The rest of the night I relaxed and went to bed. So that is my busy weekend! Kris Allen Rocks!!

Kris Allen has made it into the top 3 of American Idol and came home to Arkansas last night but officially did things today! Last night Kris Allen was given 2 Keys to cities one to Jacksonville where he was born and the other to Little Rock! Today he performed at the Riverfront Ampitheater in Little Rock, UCA in Conway and Downtown Conway where I went to see him! The govenor of Arkansas declared today to be KRIS ALLEN DAY and he even went and toured the Govenor's Mansion. In Conway just about every store window and resturant window or sign said something about Kris. He even had a parade through downtown Conway! Needless to say he was welcomed back very VERY well! We did decide to brave the HORRIBLE crowds and go to the concert! We didn't get there in time for the parade but we did get there in time for them to film some for American Idol (soo exciting)! So below are my pictures to show that I was there at the Kris Allen Concert!

I am sure that I didn't think of everything that happened to Kris Allen today! So you will just have to watch American Idol Tuesday night to find out the rest! It was a very good experience and I am glad that we decided to go! I am glad that I can say that I was there and that I got to be a part of the Idol experience! I will be in Conway watching Kris Allen perform LIVE!! YAY!! I'm soo excited he made it to the top three!! I can't wait to see him Friday night! And I know you are all jealous that I get to go see him lol!!

Wedding Shower #1!!

Our first Wedding shower was given to us last night! Everything was beautiful and it was a lot of fun! I of course got tons of pictures to share but these are a few!

I had a fabulous shower and of course got tons of good stuff! Some of the things I got are a RED microwave to go in my RED kitchen, some plates, RED crockpot, gorgeous towel sets, and a digital picture frame. There is soo much more and I couldn't even begin to list it on here! I do thank everyone for coming and for the gifts I am sure they will be very useful!

RAiNY WEEKEND...

First I would like to say a special CONGRATULATIONS to My little cousin and minature bride, Macy! She won second in the Toad Suck Daze pagent this weekend! It rained pretty much all weekend here so there was not much to do! Toad Suck Daze was even cancelled on Saturday because of flooding and storms! So let me tell you about my weekend...

First on Friday my Mom and I went early to Toad Suck and watched Little Big Town warm-up! They were fabulous even warming up! So the above pictures are of them! We then walked around and looked at the booths for a little while untill we had to leave.

Then Friday night I participated in the Toad Suck Superstar contest! It was my second year to enter and I did not make the finals but it was fun and there is always next year! So the above pictures are of me singing Love Story by Taylor Swift! Afterwards we came home and I went over to Heath's since he had just gotten in from work! It did not rain untill late Friday night and early Saturday morning! Saturday I woke up to loud thunder and pouring rain! So instead of attending Toad Suck as planned I went to Conway with Heath so he could pay some of his bills and then he surprised me with this....

A brand new pink blackberry pearl! I love it! I was soo excited to get a new phone and I even picked it out! I have never had a smartphone before and so far I really like it! But really whats not to like about a PINK phone! The rest of the day we stayed in and watched movies! Sunday of course we went to church and then I had my cousin Blake's birthday party that afternoon. Heath left again for work at around 6 and will be home Friday. It finally quit raining Sunday night but there is more rain to come this week! My Brother and Sister-in-Law are home for a few days and tonight hopefully we will play some games and of course I have to watch Dancing with the Stars and The Hills!
